An exhibition titled "Reverence: The Photography of Paul Nicklen" is set to open at Iconic Images Gallery in London on November 12, 2026, running until January 02, 2027. The show presents a career-spanning collection of Nicklen's work, focusing on polar regions, oceans, and their inhabitants, often captured in extreme environments.
Nicklen, who grew up among the Inuit on Baffin Island, has spent over thirty years documenting the natural world. His photographs, such as "Face to Face" capturing a polar bear near a cabin and "A Mother's Universe" showing polar bears in Manitoba, aim to connect viewers with the beauty and fragility of these remote locations.
The exhibition coincides with the release of a 360-page book, also named "Reverence." This book is the most extensive collection of Nicklen's photography to date, featuring 160 images, including previously unseen work. All prints in the gallery exhibition are limited edition, signed, and numbered by the artist and are available for purchase.
"Reverence: The Photography of Paul Nicklen" offers a visual record of our planet's current state, emphasizing urgency for conservation. The exhibition is free to enter and open Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00 at 16 Waterloo Place, London.
