Eighties music star Paul Hardcastle has shared the devastating news of his son Paul Jr.'s death at the age of 35. Paul Jr. tragically died following a fatal motorcycle accident earlier this week. The announcement was made by his heartbroken father via an Instagram post on Monday night.
Paul Jr. followed in his father's musical footsteps, showcasing talent as a saxophonist and DJ. He appeared on his father's 2008 release, 'Hardcastle 5,' and also contributed to the 2022 album, 'Hardcastle X.' His own debut single, 'Touch and Go,' released in 2010, achieved chart success, reaching number one on the USA Billboard Jazz Chart with his father's production.
Paul Sr. is renowned for his 1985 chart-topping hit '19,' which dominated the charts for five weeks. His electronic music, keyboard skills, and compositions have earned him significant respect in the industry. Notably, 'The Wizard' became the iconic theme tune for BBC's 'Top Of The Pops' from 1986 to 1991.
