The four-part series, directed by Sam Mendes, is set to feature an actress playing Boyd, who was married to Harrison from 1966 until their divorce in 1977. Boyd expressed her surprise at this lack of contact, noting that she could have shared valuable stories. She anticipates the films might present a fictionalized account rather than factual events, as her input was not sought. The biopics are scheduled for release in April 2028, with Aimee Lee Wood cast as Boyd. Boyd also had a significant relationship with Eric Clapton, whom she married after her divorce from Harrison.
