The controversy reignited following videos from a recent book signing event in Houston, Texas. These clips captured numerous attendees visibly reacting, including collapsing, shaking, and convulsing, as Krick prayed over them. Krick, who leads Five-Fold Church, has amassed a significant following online, particularly on Instagram and TikTok, where her ministry often showcases alleged miraculous healings and spiritual deliverances.

Supporters describe these experiences as powerful encounters with divine anointing. However, skeptical observers question the dramatic physical manifestations, contrasting them with other experiences of healing. Critics, such as Bible teacher Mike Winger, have publicly labeled Krick a "cult leader" and accused her of promoting "false teachings" and questionable practices.
