Parvathy Joins Kartik Aaryan in 'Captain India'

Parvathy Thiruvothu has reportedly joined the cast of Kartik Aaryan's upcoming aviation thriller, 'Captain India.' Directed by Shimit Amin, the film draws inspiration from a significant humanitarian rescue operation.

Parvathy, known for her performance-oriented roles in films like 'Take Off' and 'Uyare,' will be essaying an important role. Her Hindi cinema debut was in 'Qarib Qarib Single' opposite Irrfan Khan. Manish Chaudhary has also reportedly been cast in a key part, strengthening the film's ensemble.

'Captain India' marks the return of director Shimit Amin to feature filmmaking after a considerable break. His previous directorial ventures include 'Chak De! India' and 'Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year.'

The movie is expected to feature Kartik Aaryan as a pilot central to a daring rescue mission involving civilians in a war-torn region. The narrative aims to balance thrilling aviation action with the human stakes of the evacuation effort.
