- Cotino aims to accommodate around 1,900 residential units by 2026

Disney has unveiled a new residential community in Rancho Mirage, California, called Cotino, which features a stunning architectural centerpiece inspired by the beloved Pixar film series, The Incredibles.
The Parr House, named after the superhero family from the movies, was spearheaded by Disney's creative Imagineering arm. The team pored over original concept art from The Incredibles to meticulously replicate the mid-century modern aesthetic of the Parr family's home. The result is a striking structure that "honors both the artistry of Pixar and the architectural legacy of Palm Springs," according to Caroline Boone, Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering.
Parr House overlooks Cotino Bay, a massive body of water that guests will be able to traverse via various watercraft. Surrounding the area will be Cotino Bay Beach, featuring dining, shops, and more, set to open in 2026. The multi-use space serves as part of Cotino's voluntary Artisan Club membership, offering exclusive amenities and experiences inspired by Disney stories.
Cotino aims to accommodate around 1,900 residential units across a 618-acre site, opening in phases through 2026 as part of Disney's Storyliving initiative, which seeks to create immersive residential neighborhoods.
