Paris Jackson recently spoke about a severe consequence of her past addiction, detailing how she had a hole blown through her nose due to drug use. The singer and actress shared the experience on an episode of "On Purpose with Jay Shetty," explaining that the perforation causes her nose to whistle when she breathes, a condition she has lived with since she was 20. She recounted the frightening moment she discovered the injury, seeing blood and realizing the cause, which doctors confirmed was from substances like cocaine and ketamine.

Jackson disclosed that medical professionals warned her about the limited number of reconstructive surgeries available and advised against them if she continued her drug use. She admitted to feeling she wasn't ready to stop using drugs at that point. Previously, in November 2025, Jackson had addressed her "perforated septum" on TikTok, showing the hole and advising against drug use, stating it "ruined my life." She also mentioned she didn't want surgery due to the required painkillers and her six years of sobriety. She humorously noted she could thread a spaghetti noodle through the hole.
