Jackson described her current relationship with her father as "the most beautiful relationship ever" and asserted that it is a private matter not for public consumption, finding great freedom in this decision.

She emphasized that any expression of her love for her father must not be "performative." Jackson also addressed critiques of her upbringing, refuting claims of being a "spoiled brat" and highlighting her father's focus on instilling a strong work ethic. She likened herself to a "shark," driven by the need to remain productive.

Furthermore, Jackson expressed reservations about the Michael Jackson biopic, stating she distanced herself after finding inaccuracies and dishonesty in an early script. She feels some Hollywood biopics "sugar-coat" narratives and "panders to a very specific section of my dad's fandom." Jackson is also involved in a legal dispute regarding her father's estate, recently winning a ruling for the return of $625,000 in bonus payments to the estate.
