In October 2025, Amazon announced that it is currently developing a new romantic comedy series called "Aught to Be." The half-hour series is being produced by the Tornante Company, with Paris Hilton attached to executive produce under her 11:11 Media banner.
The show is inspired by the hit song "Konstantine" by Andrew McMahon, the frontman of bands like Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate. McMahon will also executive produce the series and contribute original music and his classic hits to the show.
According to the official logline, "Aught to Be" follows "one couple's years-long love story told through the unforgettable pop culture moments that shaped the early 2000s and beyond." Each episode will capture a key moment in the couple's evolving relationship, set against the backdrop of cultural milestones like TRL, Sidekicks, and the birth of social media.
Sources say that Hilton is in talks to serve as the series' narrator, though that deal is not finalized yet. The show's creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner is Pat Cunnane, who recently co-wrote the upcoming A24 film "Eternity" and previously worked on the hit political drama "Designated Survivor."
