Paresh Rawal Breaks Silence on Hera Pheri 3 Drama

Paresh Rawal has broken his silence regarding his temporary departure from Hera Pheri 3, clarifying that his decision was driven by contractual obligations rather than any issues with co-star Akshay Kumar. He explained that he required producer Firoz Nadiadwala's approval to participate, as Nadiadwala holds the franchise rights. Rawal expressed frustration when Akshay Kumar, who is also producing the film, issued a ₹25 crore legal notice alleging a breach of contract, describing it as an "emotional reaction."

Despite the legal entanglement, which has since been resolved amicably without a formal meeting, Rawal insists his relationship with Akshay remains strong. He confirmed his commitment to Hera Pheri 3, stating he will participate whenever the film is produced. The project has faced numerous hurdles, including ongoing legal disputes over franchise ownership and the recent exit of director Priyadarshan.

Director Priyadarshan has confirmed his departure from Hera Pheri 3, adding another obstacle to the long-delayed project. This follows producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala's earlier announcement of the director's exit. The film's production continues to be plagued by legal challenges concerning ownership rights.
