Paresh Rawal Declines Drishyam 3 Role, Praises Script as "Very Good"

The Drishyam franchise has captivated audiences since the release of the first film in 2015. The sequel, Drishyam 2, which hit theaters in 2022, was a major box office success, shocking the industry with its impressive performance. Now, the third installment of the thriller series is set to release on October 2, 2026.

Recently, it was reported that veteran actor Paresh Rawal might be a part of the cast of Drishyam 3. However, in an exclusive interview, Rawal has clarified that he has not signed on for the film. While the makers did approach him for a role, he felt that the part was not suitable for him, stating, "Maza nahin aaya (on reading about my part)."

Despite declining the role, Rawal had high praise for the script of Drishyam 3, calling it "very good." He explained, "But even in a compelling script, you need a role that you feel excited about. Warna maza nahin aayega."

The Drishyam franchise, which follows the story of a man trying to protect his family after a tragic incident, has developed a strong cult following over the years.
