Parampara Series Celebrates India's Classical Arts with Maestros and Emerging Talents

The 29th edition of the Parampara Series, a prestigious annual festival of classical dance and music, opened in October 2025 at Kamani Auditorium in New Delhi. Organized by Natya Tarangini, a premier performing arts institution, the three-day event presented a spectacular confluence of India's finest traditional art forms.

The festival featured an extensive lineup of legendary maestros and emerging icons, transforming the stage into a visual and auditory spectacle. Highlights included a mesmerizing Kuchipudi performance by the Raja Radha Reddy Repertory, soulful Hindustani vocals by Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, a dynamic Mridangam-Tabla jugalbandi, a precise and poetic Odissi recital, a violin duet, and a graceful Bharatanatyam presentation. Together, these artists celebrated India's living heritage and captivated the audience with their artistic brilliance.

Founded in 1976 by the renowned dancing couple Padma Bhushans Drs. Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy, Natya Tarangini has been dedicated to preserving, promoting, and innovating within India's classical traditions for nearly five decades. The Parampara Series stands as a reflection of this vision, an ongoing movement to enrich the cultural fabric of society.
