In a recent memo, Cheeks outlined plans to "focus on a more curated slate" of cable shows, prioritizing established franchises like SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, RuPaul's Drag Race, and The Daily Show. While Dora and Ninja Turtles have been staples on Nickelodeon for years, they did not make the cut for Paramount's renewed focus on its top-performing properties.
