- This marks Paramount+'s first major unscripted series since new leadership.

Paramount+ is set to debut its first major unscripted series since its recent leadership changes, ordering a new relationship dating show from Kinetic Content. Tentatively titled Making Love, the series is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
This initiative comes after Skydance, under David Ellison, took control of the studio and installed Cindy Holland as Chair of Direct-to-Consumer and Jane Wiseman as Head of Originals. Wiseman was instrumental in acquiring the project, bringing in former Netflix colleague Damla Dogan to assist with its unscripted development.
The show is described as a "bold new relationship experiment" where singles actively pursue their ideal partners, aiming to find lasting love. Kinetic Content, known for hits like Netflix's Love Is Blind and Peacock's Married At First Sight, will produce the series.
Paramount+'s previous foray into unscripted content included spin-offs of established franchises and a limited number of originals like The Family Stallone. The streaming service now aims to become a significant player in the reality television landscape, rivaling major networks and streamers.
