Pankaj Tripathi's maiden theatre production, Lailaaj, has achieved a significant recognition by being officially selected for the 25th Bharat Rang Mahotsav. This prestigious theatre festival is organized by the National School of Drama in Delhi and is considered India's largest. The musical comedy play, Lailaaj, is written and directed by Faiz Mohammed Khan.
The 25th Bharat Rang Mahotsav is scheduled to take place throughout January and February, commencing in the final week of January. This edition will showcase a diverse array of acclaimed theatre productions from both India and international stages. For Pankaj Tripathi, this selection is personally and artistically meaningful, signifying his return to acting on stage after more than a decade.
Furthermore, Lailaaj represents a family milestone as it introduces Pankaj Tripathi's daughter, Aashi, in her stage debut. This collaboration adds a unique and intimate dimension to the production.
