Pankaj Raina Honors Dharmendra's Legacy

On August 21, actor and singer Pankaj Raina presented a musical tribute titled 'Pyaar Hi Pyaar Beshumaar' as a personal homage to the veteran actor Dharmendra. This special evening was dedicated to celebrating Dharmendra's enduring legacy and his significant contributions to Hindi cinema, evoking music and nostalgia for his fans.

Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi, who directed Dharmendra in films like 'Ghayal' and 'Ghatak,' also attended the event. Santoshi considers Dharmendra his godfather, highlighting their close bond and the Deol family's respect. Raina expressed his long-standing admiration for Dharmendra since childhood and found inspiration in his interactions with the Deol family during the filming of 'Batwara 1947.'

Raina shared that organizing a show for Dharmendra had always been a dream. He noted the profound sadness following the actor's passing and wished the tribute could have occurred during his lifetime. The event was designed as a genuine and heartfelt tribute, with Raina expressing gratitude to all attendees for participating in this celebration of Dharmendra's artistry.
