Palm Beach Cast Reunion Exposes On-Set Tensions
15 Mar
Summary
- Cast members discussed Gale Brophy's on-set rudeness and comments.
- Brophy told Ro-Mina Ustayev to 'go back to her own country'.
- Season 1 of 'Members Only: Palm Beach' premiered in December.

Cast members of the reality series "Members Only: Palm Beach" recently convened on Rachel Uchitel's "Miss Understood" podcast to dissect the dynamics of their first season. A significant point of discussion revolved around comments made by cast member Gale Brophy.
During an etiquette coaching session, Brophy directed a remark at fellow cast member Ro-Mina Ustayev, suggesting she should "go back to her own country" if she intended to eat with her hands. Brophy has since maintained that her intention was merely to offer guidance, framing it as a "teachable moment."
However, this explanation did not resonate with several cast members, who accused Brophy of bullying and general on-set rudeness. Ustayev shared that she was hurt by the comment, even though she initially did not hear it directly. Rosalyn Yellin, a friend of Brophy's and a key figure in her joining the show, expressed surprise at the remark and wished she had intervened more directly.
Despite the on-set conflicts, cast members have expressed a desire for the show, which premiered on December 29th, to be renewed by Netflix. Yet, the lingering animosity suggests Brophy might not be welcomed back by her co-stars with open arms.
