Actor-filmmaker R Madhavan is set to be honored with the Padma Shri. Known for his successful journey across television and cinema, Madhavan has an extensive filmography and has also engaged in agricultural ventures. The ceremony will also recognize Satish Shah and Telugu cinema stalwart Rajendra Prasad with Padma Shri awards for their significant contributions to the arts.
This year, a total of 131 Padma Awards were approved, including Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri honors. These prestigious awards acknowledge outstanding contributions across various fields, including art, literature, and public service, concluding the year's presentations.
