Recounting a difficult period, Sreekumar explained his severe financial setbacks after his initial two films. Facing the need to make a commercial film merely to survive, Mammootty stepped in. He offered a film date and arranged all necessary support for a project titled 'Vishnu,' effectively saving Sreekumar from his financial distress and enabling him to rebuild his life and purchase lost assets.

Sreekumar also highlighted his close relationship with Mohanlal, describing him as a younger brother who offers considerable cooperation and love.
