As of October 1, 2025, a new documentary titled "Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home" is set to provide a poignant look into the lives of the legendary rock star and his wife of 43 years. The film, which was originally meant to be a series called "Home to Roost," follows the Osbourne family's move back to the UK over the last three years of Ozzy's life.
In the trailer, the couple offers conflicting views on whether their family is "normal." While Sharon, 72, claims they are "quite boring, really, when it comes down to it," Ozzy, who passed away in July, begs to differ, recounting an incident where he made "marijuana cake" and took it to the pub. Their children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, also appear in the documentary, with Kelly, 40, noting that "you can't be him without people staring" in reference to her famous father.
The hour-long film is described as a "moving portrait of one of the world's most entertaining families at a pivotal moment in their history." It explores the strength of Ozzy and Sharon's love, as well as their children's devotion, as Ozzy's health deteriorated in his final years. According to a source, the move back to England was not an easy one, but it allowed the couple to spend their final chapter together in peace.
The documentary, which was originally set to premiere in August, was postponed due to the Osbourne family's wishes. It is now scheduled to air on BBC One via iPlayer on October 2, 2025.
