Summary
- Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne release charity cover of "War Pigs"

- Rob Halford devastated by Ozzy's passing, but honors his spirit

On September 26, 2025, Judas Priest has released a charity cover of the Black Sabbath classic "War Pigs" featuring the vocals of the late Ozzy Osbourne. The project was conceived as a tribute to Ozzy and his band after Judas Priest was unable to join them for their final performance in July.
Despite his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease, guitarist Glenn Tipton contributed to the track. Ozzy's widow, Sharon Osbourne, also lent her support to the endeavor. All proceeds from the single will be donated to The Glenn Tipton Parkinson's Foundation and Cure Parkinson's.
Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford was devastated by Ozzy's passing in July at the age of 76. He recalled breaking down in tears upon hearing the news, struggling to comprehend the loss of his friend and fellow metal icon. However, Halford believes Ozzy would have wanted them to "party" and "rock and roll" in his honor, which is the spirit they have captured in this collaborative cover.
