In a heartwarming tribute, a massive pumpkin mural depicting the legendary Ozzy Osbourne has been created. The mural, made of over 10,000 pumpkins, showcases Ozzy smiling and wearing his signature glasses and cross necklace, surrounded by bats.
The owners of Sunnyfields, Tom and Ian Nelson, had asked the public to vote on who they should feature in their annual pumpkin mural, and over a third of the respondents chose Ozzy. In a touching gesture, Ozzy's wife Sharon, 73, and son Jack, 39, rode a cherry picker to see the mural from above.
The impressive tribute, which took over 16 hours to complete, will be available for the public to visit through the end of October. Ozzy, who had faced several health setbacks in recent years, sadly passed away in July at the age of 76.
In the wake of his death, Sharon has expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from Ozzy's fans. "Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know," she wrote on Instagram, sharing a video of herself at a falconry, a bond she says she shares with Ozzy.
