4 Feb
Summary
- Director Jonas Pate grabbed a production assistant on set.
- The incident occurred when the PA walked in front of the camera.
- Madelyn Cline intervened in the director's confrontation.

A recently surfaced video captures director Jonas Pate of the Netflix series "Outer Banks" in a tense interaction with a production assistant. The footage shows Pate grabbing the assistant by the arm as they passed in front of the camera, an action he reportedly took due to being asked not to walk that way. Sources claim Pate repeatedly instructed the P.A. not to cross the camera's sightline, becoming frustrated but never physically harming the individual.
Madelyn Cline, a star of the show, is seen in the video intervening in the confrontation after Pate had already dismissed the production assistant. While the video does not show Chase Stokes involved, other sources suggest that the disagreement between Cline and Pate continued beyond what is depicted. Representatives for Jonas Pate have not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident.
