Vishal Bhardwaj Introduces Flamenco to Bollywood

Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming film, O'Romeo, is set to introduce Flamenco dance to Bollywood through a unique choreography by Kunal Om. This marks Om's debut as a film choreographer, a significant move for the artist known for his Flamenco fusion performances. The film, which stars Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Avinash Tiwary, features a dance sequence specifically designed to leverage the Spanish-style choreography, aligning with the film's significant shooting schedule in Spain.

Kunal Om expressed his excitement about collaborating with director Vishal Bhardwaj, describing him as "a gem of a person" who appreciates artistic exploration. Om's contribution to O'Romeo evolved from a smaller role to choreographing key sequences. He particularly praised actor Avinash Tiwary's patience and dedication during the filming of a specific dance scene. The film is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026.
