90s Anime Visuals Star in New Switch 2 Exclusive

Nintendo revealed Orbitals, a new two-player puzzle adventure game, during its recent partner showcase. This exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch 2 puts players in the roles of intergalactic explorers Maki and Omura on a mission to protect their home from a cosmic storm.

The game is distinguished by its highly stylized 90s anime-inspired visuals, which are impressive both in static cutscenes and during gameplay. Orbitals appears to draw inspiration from other cooperative titles, aiming to set a high bar for creative co-op experiences.

Orbitals can be played either locally or online. The Switch 2's GameShare feature ensures that only one player needs to own the game for friends to enjoy it together online, enhancing its accessibility.
