A24 has unveiled the first posters for its upcoming action horror film, Onslaught, starring Adria Arjona. Directed by Adam Wingard, the movie is described as a "gonzo action horror thriller" and is co-written by Wingard and Simon Barrett.
The newly released posters hint at the film's intense content. One poster features Arjona prepared for combat, while another unsettling image shows a shadowy figure. Descriptions from its theatrical run suggest an "absolute onslaught of action, violence, and outright ultraviolence."
The trailer for Onslaught is set to premiere tomorrow. Early reactions to the footage have praised its high-energy pacing, comparable to Wingard's previous film, The Guest, but on a larger scale. The preview is expected to deliver intense gunfights, explosions, and hand-to-hand combat.
In addition to Arjona, the cast includes Dan Stevens, Michael Biehn, Rebecca Hall, Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson, and UFC champion Alex Pereira as the villainous Butcher. Onslaught is slated for release on September 4, 2026.
