25 Aug
Summary
- Elbaph Arc English dub episodes are now available weekly.
- New dubbed episodes of One Piece: Heroines also released.
- Anime production schedule reduced to 26 episodes annually.
One Piece fans have exciting news as the English dub for the Elbaph Arc begins airing weekly on Crunchyroll starting October 20, with episode 1,156 leading the charge. Previously, dubbed episodes were released in larger batches, but this new weekly format offers a consistent release schedule for enthusiasts.
Further enhancing the anime's offerings, dubbed versions of the "One Piece: Heroines" special in English, Spanish, and Portuguese launched on October 13. This special explores the adventures of female characters within the One Piece universe. The Elbaph Arc itself promises a grand adventure as the Straw Hat Crew reaches the legendary Land of Giants, encountering new allies and facing colossal challenges.
In a significant change to its production, Toei Animation announced that starting with the Elbaph Arc, the anime's annual output will be limited to 26 episodes. This marks a departure from the series' long-standing, nearly weekly release schedule that began in 1999, aiming for a more sustainable production pace.
