Onam Train Festivity: Maveli and Pulikali Surprise Commuters

Passengers on the Guruvayur-Ernakulam passenger train experienced an unforgettable cultural spectacle recently. Regular commuters organized a vibrant Onam celebration aboard the train, complete with a Maveli appearance and Pulikali dancers. The train departed Guruvayur adorned with floral carpets and colorful streamers, with hundreds of commuters joining the festivities.

This marked the third year of the on-train Onam celebration, which focused on communal harmony, kindness, and anti-addiction awareness. Passengers from various stations joined the event, receiving sweets and gifts. The commuters also expressed gratitude for a new passenger train service and requested timely operations and additional coaches.
