Olivia Rodrigo Drops Surprise Christmas Single

Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo is set to release her inaugural holiday song, titled "Take Me Home (4 Christmas)," on Thursday, November 5th. The Grammy winner announced the exciting news via Instagram, where she also unveiled the single's artwork, depicting her in a festive Santa hat and striking red lipstick. This release marks another significant milestone for Rodrigo in an already impactful year.

Her third studio album, which debuted in June, has been a major success, featuring the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single "Drop Dead" and topping the Billboard 200 chart for three weeks. Prior to this musical endeavor, Rodrigo hosted her Daisy Chain Fields festival in August, successfully raising $20 million for women's charities, followed by her arena tour in September. She also collaborated on a surprise remix of "Expectations," which climbed to No. 3 on the Hot 100.

As the holiday season approaches, Rodrigo joins a list of artists releasing new Christmas music, including Hilary Duff and Alanis Morissette. Her entry into the holiday song market, which is annually dominated by Mariah Carey's hit, adds to the festive musical landscape this year.
