In the season 7 finale of "Welcome to Plathville" that aired in September 2023, viewers learned that Olivia Plath has moved on with her life since her separation from her husband Ethan Plath. Olivia revealed that she has relocated to Washington D.C., where she initially signed a six-month lease to "try it out" and "explore" the city on her own.

Shortly after, Olivia and her new boyfriend Brendan signed a lease on a townhome together and moved in. The couple expressed their love for each other and discussed their plans for the future, with Brendan saying he wants to "grow old" and "sit on a park bench" with Olivia, as he feels she is the one for him.
