The new feature film "Old Mission," from writer-directors Neal Kelley and Jono Sherman, has finalized its cast. Lauren Patten and Pauline Chalamet are set to lead the ensemble.
The film, which began principal photography earlier this month and is expected to conclude filming this week, is set over five days on the shores of Lake Michigan. It follows a woman who reunites with close friends at a lake house.
This gathering occurs in the days before she relocates to care for her mother, who has recently experienced a mental breakdown. The vacation transforms into a complex exploration of dormant emotions and past grievances.
"Old Mission" delves into the tension between the lives friends imagined and the realities they are currently living. Kelley and Sherman are directing their own screenplay, producing under their TWNSHP banner.
