In a recent interview, rapper Offset opened up about the valuable parenting lessons he learned from his mother that he hopes to pass on to his six children. The 33-year-old, who shares three kids with ex-wife Cardi B and three from previous relationships, emphasized the importance of discipline and instilling good manners in his kids.
Offset explained that despite his children living a more privileged lifestyle, he wants to ensure they understand the value of hard work and respect. "My kids ... have a higher lifestyle. So, I help them understand, especially my boys, though, that it's still going to be a challenging time for you no matter where you go and to always represent us when you're going," he said.
The Migos rapper also opened up about the difficulties of balancing his demanding music career with being an active father, especially when his children were younger. "It's challenging when you have a career like this and you're constantly on the road. It makes it tough to see your kids, especially when they're young," he admitted. However, Offset noted that he has learned from his past mistakes and is now more focused on being a present and engaged parent.
