Netflix Series: Office Romance Sparks Steamy Connection

A new Amazon Original series, 'Every Year After,' is set to debut on June 10. This romantic comedy, adapted from Carley Fortune's 2002 bestselling novel, tells the story of best friends Percy and Sam over six years. The narrative unfolds in the quintessential lake town of Barry's Bay, exploring their complicated love story.

The recently released trailer showcases Percy's return to Barry's Bay, anticipating reunion with the Florek brothers, Sam and Charlie. As feelings surface, Sam and Percy's unresolved love may get a second chance, navigating new obstacles. The series stars Sadie Soverall as Percy and Matt Cornett as Sam.

"Every Year After is a romantic, nostalgic story of first loves and the people and choices that mark us forever," according to the Prime Video description. Supporting cast includes Aurora Perrineau, Abigail Cowen, Michael Bradway, Joseph Chiu, and Elisha Cuthbert. The showrunner is Amy B. Harris.

This release is part of Prime Video's initiative to bring books to screen. The streamer will host "Obsessed Fest," an event celebrating authors and talent involved in these adaptations, on June 27 in Los Angeles.
