Prime Video's 'Off Campus' Drops May 13

Prime Video is preparing for the premiere of its new series, 'Off Campus,' scheduled for May 13. This highly anticipated show, adapted from Elle Kennedy's best-selling book series, will release all eight episodes on its launch date.

The narrative centers on an elite ice hockey team and the significant women in their lives. It explores themes of love, heartbreak, and personal growth as the characters navigate their transition into adulthood, forging strong friendships along the way.

Season one focuses on the "opposites attract" dynamic between Hannah, a quiet songwriter, and Garrett, a star athlete at Briar University. Their story unfolds as they enter into a fake relationship to gain the attention of Hannah's longtime crush.

'Off Campus' has already secured a second season, with each season planned to feature rotating lead characters, similar to the 'Bridgerton' model. The cast for season one includes Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, and Stephen Kalyn, among others.

Developed for television by Louisa Levy, known for her work on 'The Flight Attendant,' the series is co-showrun by Levy and Gina Fattore. Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed excitement about bringing Elle Kennedy's relatable themes of self-discovery and connection to a global audience.
