Oasis Tapped for Next James Bond Theme
3 Dec
Summary
- Iconic band Oasis reportedly chosen for next James Bond theme.
- Screenwriter Steven Knight penning the latest 007 movie script.
- Noel Gallagher previously desired an Oasis song for Bond.

Brit-pop legends Oasis are reportedly in contention to record the next James Bond theme tune, a move that would add another milestone to their recent reunion. The upcoming 007 film is being written by acclaimed British screenwriter Steven Knight, known for his work on "Peaky Blinders" and "House Of Guinness."
This reported decision by Amazon MGM Studios to enlist the "Wonderwall" hitmakers aligns with a long-held wish by Noel Gallagher, who in 2008 lamented the use of American artists for Bond soundtracks and suggested an unreleased Oasis song, "Freaky Teeth," as a suitable alternative.
The new Bond film is under development, with Denis Villeneuve set to direct. Producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman are overseeing the project, which follows the recent "No Time to Die" from 2021.
