Oasis has generously donated VIP tickets to one of their upcoming UK reunion tour shows to support a crucial charity auction. This initiative is organized to raise vital funds for the London Playing Fields Foundation, an organization dedicated to protecting and maintaining grassroots sports grounds across the capital.
The London Playing Fields Foundation operates seven essential playing fields located in six different London boroughs. The foundation previously saw significant support from the Gallagher brothers during their "7 Shows, 7 Fields" campaign last summer, which tied each of their Wembley Stadium concerts to a local playing field.
This latest fundraising effort, titled "The Spring Clean," is being spearheaded by Carden Cunietti, an interior design company. The online auction features numerous donations from suppliers and fellow designers, with Oasis's VIP tickets being a highlight. The funds raised will contribute to the foundation's ongoing work, emphasizing the importance of outdoor spaces for public health and well-being in urban environments.
