90s NYC Nightlife Thriller 'Corpus' Premieres at Fantasia

A new thriller, "Corpus," will have its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal. The film marks the directorial debut of Corrin Evans, who also co-wrote the screenplay. Set in the summer of 1998, "Corpus" plunges into the New York City nightlife scene, centering on a photographer who also deals drugs.

He accepts an invitation to a party upstate with friends, including a rising movie star. What begins as a quest for summer debauchery at a secluded manor quickly transforms into a dark web of seduction and terror. Mysterious women at the gathering draw the protagonists into a disturbing agenda.

Yellow Veil Pictures has acquired the world sales rights for "Corpus." The company's representative expressed enthusiasm for Evans' work, calling her "the next big thing in genre." Director Evans stated her honor in partnering with Yellow Veil, noting their commitment to distinctive and genre-bending films.
