In a weekend filled with high-profile releases, the third "Now You See Me" film emerged as the clear winner, earning $75.5 million globally. The illusionist adventure, which cost Lionsgate $90 million to produce, marks a significant turnaround for the studio, which has struggled to deliver hits in recent months.

The film's success comes at the expense of "The Running Man," a big-budget action thriller that paired Glen Powell with cult favorite filmmaker Edgar Wright. Elsewhere, the "Predator: Badlands" reboot continued its strong run, adding $13 million to its domestic haul of $66.3 million. The film, which cost $105 million to produce, is the second attempt at adapting Stephen King's dystopian novel, following the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger classic.
