Filmmaker Christopher Nolan has released his most ambitious film yet, 'The Odyssey,' an epic adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek poem. Throughout his career, Nolan's wife, Emma Thomas, has been a pivotal force, producing every feature film he has directed since their early collaborations. Together, they founded the production company Syncopy, responsible for many of their major works.

Their partnership achieved a career peak with 'Oppenheimer,' which garnered seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture for the producers. Both Nolan and Thomas were later honored with prestigious damehoods and knighthoods in 2024 for their contributions to cinema. The production of 'The Odyssey' also became a family affair, with all four of the couple's adult children participating in various roles.
