Summary

- They enjoyed a traditional chai and bun maska.
- Local cafe owner initially didn't recognize the stars.

Ahead of the highly anticipated premiere of 'The Odyssey' in Mumbai, acclaimed director Christopher Nolan and stars Tom Holland and Matt Damon experienced a local cultural moment. The trio visited the historic Olympia Coffee House in Colaba for a quintessential Mumbai experience: a cup of steaming chai paired with bun maska.
During their brief stop, the celebrities interacted with onlookers and posed for pictures, their visit documented by the film's production house on social media. However, the owner of the 108-year-old establishment, Inayat Maredia, initially had no idea of their fame. He only later identified Tom Holland as the actor who plays Spider-Man after a quick search.
'The Odyssey,' directed by Nolan and filmed for IMAX, is set to release worldwide on July 17. The film is inspired by Homer's epic poem, chronicling King Odysseus's arduous journey home after the Trojan War, fraught with challenges and mythical encounters.
