A significant piece of Oasis history, an Epiphone EJ-200 guitar played by Noel Gallagher on hits such as "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova," is set for auction. This iconic instrument was used during the recording of the Manchester band's landmark 1995 album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory.
The auction, held at Sotheby's in New York, will also feature a handwritten lyric sheet for the band's "Don't Look Back in Anger," estimated to sell for $40,000. The guitar itself is expected to achieve $80,000.
