Miley's Hit Show Soundtrack Drops: A Producer's Tale

The companion soundtrack for the third season of the Netflix romantic comedy "Nobody Wants This" is scheduled for release on Atlantic Records on October 23, 2026. This highly anticipated album will feature 16 previously unreleased singles from a diverse lineup of artists, including Miley Cyrus, Ellie Goulding, Ravyn Lenae, Metric, and Bella Kay. Notably, country star Megan Moroney was inspired to write the show's first original song, "Say When," for the album.

Executive producer Simon Tikhman described the process of curating the soundtrack as challenging, particularly in coordinating with numerous artists and their teams. He noted that lessons learned from the success of season two's soundtrack were applied to this season, emphasizing clear artist expectations. Tikhman also confirmed that season four episodes are currently being written, indicating continued production for the hit series.
