A new documentary chronicling the life of Noah Kahan, following the success of his 2022 album "Stick Season," has officially landed with Netflix. The release date for the untitled film has not yet been confirmed.
Directed by Nick Sweeney, the movie documents Kahan's experiences on tour, his creative process for new music, and his return to his rural Vermont home. It aims to explore his navigation of deeply personal struggles amidst burgeoning fame.
"Stick Season" reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned Kahan a Grammy nomination for best new artist. Director Sweeney described the film as an honest portrayal of Kahan's "in-between moment," capturing thrilling, terrifying, and hilarious experiences.
The documentary is produced by RadicalMedia, Live Nation Studios, Polygram Entertainment, and Federal Films. Kahan recently announced his next album, "The Great Divide," due April 24, with its first single releasing on February 1, 2026.
