13 Oct
Summary
- No Man's Sky is now available on iPhone and iPad.
- The game includes all past content updates.
- It launches October 28 for $19.99 with a free trial.
Space exploration game No Man's Sky is now playable on iPhone and iPad, more than a decade after its debut. The iOS version features all content and system updates released over the years, transforming the game from its initial reception to a beloved title. It runs on devices starting with the iPhone 11 and iPad Air (3rd gen).
This port brings the game's incredible procedural galaxy generation to mobile. However, some features have compromises. Building planetary settlements is exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro and later models, and multiplayer is not supported on any iOS device. Hello Games is monitoring player feedback to determine future support for content updates.
The game will be available on October 28 for $19.99, with a free trial period. The file size is under 5 GB, thanks to its on-device generation of planets rather than storing assets directly. This release is part of Apple's indie games week promotion.
