NMIXX Blends Genres in Boundary-Pushing Debut Album 'Blue Valentine'

In 2025, the 6-member K-pop group NMIXX released their first full-length album, 'Blue Valentine,' which explores diverse genres and emotions surrounding the theme of love. The group, consisting of members Haewon, Lily, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, has stood out in the highly competitive K-pop landscape by consistently experimenting with different musical styles.

On 'Blue Valentine,' NMIXX continues to push boundaries, merging multiple genres into their unique 'MIXX Pop' sound. The melancholic pop-rock title track showcases the group's powerful vocal abilities and has been steadily climbing the Korean music charts, currently sitting at No. 51 on the Melon top 100 chart.

The album's diverse tracks aim to capture the various emotions associated with love, from the highs to the lows. NMIXX's leader and main vocalist, Haewon, explains that the group wanted to showcase "so many different emotions that you feel when you go through love" using different musical styles.

With this release, NMIXX has reached a new milestone in their career, and the group is excited to share their first full-length album with their dedicated fans, known as NSWER. As the members have grown since their debut in 2022, the album also features a revisited version of their debut single, "O.O," reflecting the group's evolution.
