Nivin Pauly & Soori: Epic 8000-Year Journey Collides

Nivin Pauly, currently dominating the Malayalam box office with 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit', and Soori, who is achieving significant success with 'Mandaadi' in Tamil Nadu, are joining forces for 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai'. This upcoming film, directed by Ram, has already garnered attention due to the stars' current popularity.

The narrative centers on Nivin Pauly portraying an 8,000-year-old immortal man. His encounter with Soori's character on a train sparks a series of events where two distinct timelines collide. The trailer suggests a compelling blend of fantasy, humor, romance, and philosophical themes.

'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2026 and is slated for release on October 2, a national holiday. While its box-office performance may not match the scale of their recent individual hits, the film is expected to offer a unique cinematic experience. The ensemble cast includes Anjali, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by N K Ekhambram. The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under V House Productions.
