Nitish Sharma's Ramayana Journey: From Rejection to Revelation

Nitish Sharma, a rising actor, found his way into Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming Ramayana film through an unforeseen opportunity. After facing numerous rejections and a significant setback where he was replaced in a major project, Sharma auditioned for the role of Lakshman. Although he was not ultimately cast as Lakshman, his impressive performance caught the director's attention.

Tiwari then offered Sharma the part of Shatrughn. Sharma recounted his audition process, noting that his portrayal of Lakshman scenes led to the offer for Shatrughn. He acknowledged that the film would feature prominent stars in key roles, understanding why he wasn't chosen for Lakshman, but expressed no complaints about the casting decisions.

Sharma also lauded his co-star Ranbir Kapoor, who is portraying Lord Ram. He highlighted Kapoor's remarkable humility and dedication, observing how Kapoor would patiently give cues to other actors even after his own shots were completed. Sharma defended Kapoor against criticism, calling him the greatest actor in the industry and predicting he would be praised for his role.

Furthermore, Sharma defended Sai Pallavi's casting as Sita, describing her as having a divine appearance and being the perfect fit for the role, dismissing online trolls. He expressed strong conviction that Ramayana will captivate audiences, drawing parallels to the success of the 1987 adaptation.
