Actress Niti Taylor Recalls Disturbing Casting Couch Ordeal

Niti Taylor, known for her role in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, has shared a disturbing account from the beginning of her acting career. The actress disclosed that the director of her first Telugu film allegedly made an inappropriate demand for a subsequent project.

According to Taylor, the director stated, "You will have to sleep with me for it this time." This proposition came after they had completed their initial film together. Taylor recounted her immediate reaction: she cut the call, blocked the director's number, and informed her mother about the unsettling encounter.

The actress mentioned she had observed the director's questionable behavior towards other women previously but was taken aback when she became the target of such a proposition. This experience profoundly affected her, leading to a decision to avoid pursuing film projects at that time.

Taylor made her acting debut in the 2012 Telugu film Mem Vayasuku Vacham. Following the incident, she shifted her career focus to television, achieving significant popularity with shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. She has also appeared in other notable TV series, further establishing her presence in the industry.
