Rising Director Niki Byrne Joins Underground Talent

Rising filmmaker Niki Byrne has officially signed with Underground Management. This strategic move occurs as Byrne prepares for the highly anticipated premiere of her film, 'The Julia Set,' at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The feature film, described as a coming-of-age drama, is set against the backdrop of competitive mathematics and academia. 'The Julia Set' stars Chase Infiniti, Jason Isaacs, and Gillian Anderson, and is already attracting attention from potential buyers, though screenings for them are not expected until the festival.

Byrne, a California native with a diverse educational background including history, political science, and astrophysics from Boston University, previously worked in communications at 20th Century Fox. She is also developing her next film, the details of which are currently being kept confidential.

'The Julia Set' is produced by a notable team including Jeffrey Penman, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Lee Stollman, Gillian Anderson, Nick Scherma, Tayler Haynes, Andrey Epifanov, and Eleonora Granata-Jenkinson. Byrne continues her legal representation with Hirsch Wallerstein, alongside her new management at Underground.
