BBC's real-time thriller 'Nightsleeper' is gearing up for its second season, introducing a fresh ensemble cast. Colin Morgan, Madeleine Mantock, and Christian Cooke are set to lead the new series, taking over from the previous season's stars. The production is currently underway in Belfast, UK.
This installment relocates the suspenseful narrative from an overnight train to the open water. A passenger ferry journeying from Belfast to Liverpool becomes the focus as it faces a sophisticated hack-attack. The second engineer on board must collaborate with the National Cyber Security Centre's technical director to neutralize the threat.
Filming in Belfast, the six-part show promises a gripping maritime adventure. Element Pictures, known for 'Normal People,' is producing the series, with Nick Leather returning as writer. The show will be broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
